Why dont the mods of the 240SX domain write a book on the car? I know they have the knowledge. If they didnt spend a 1/4 of the time on here and used it for the book they could really write one! I know the mods will think Im crazy and that writting a book takes time and money, but I know id pay a good $20 for a paperback book on 240s. Doesnt even have to be a book, just some sort of 240 piece of literature. Like all the Honda/Acura books i always see in book stores. Dont flame

To stop all the repeated questions and to save people time from having to search for the information they are looking for. Sorry, that was my sales pitch reason...

I think a complete history of the nissan silvia and any variations of it would be cool.

I definitely agree, this would be great, especially for people just starting out.I think that it may fend off the REALLY basic speculation questions as well, and then the forum would be geared toward helping current projects.

Call me selfish, but I think that modifying 240s should remain as something that you need to figure out yourself. Not that we dont already have a great resource here, and not that there isnt already plenty of info elsewhere but I think there's some definete value in making our car something you work for, rather than something laid out for you step by step in some book. This way, I think we can at least filter out SOME of the people who might be looking for a quick and easy fast (read: rice) car.

I just want a good history book. Think it would be neat. Not a mod book though that should be left up to the individual.

Yeah I've read up on the history but I think it would be neat to have it in book form. Like my dad has these muscle car books and stuff like that.

WTF, I was lying in bed last night and I thought of this idea where all 240sx Modders publish Hw to's in a book. Like seperate it into differnet chapters and **** for like suspension, engine, intertoir and ..ect... That would be a GOOOD. Also have tips on how to keep this running and sutff. get my flow?

Ya thats what i mean. It doesnt have to be an incredible book with giant colored photos and interviews with old school silvia owners. Just alot of the stuff that is talked about here organized into book form

We can go to other 240sx forums and **** have peopoe contribute.. like they need to contribute like 3 how to's ( good ones) to get a percentage of the profit mad from sales and like 1-2 to get their named mentioned in teh book.. >:-)
