240SX BBQ Meet – Seneca Creek Park,MD – July 12th

Hi guys,

Thanks to Ro (from MA240SX), this spring we had a really good BBQ despite the gloomy weather. I say we try to do it again and have a summer BBQ meet at Seneca Park, MD.

Time: noon-whenever

Place:Seneca Creek State Park11950 Clopper RoadGaithersburg, MD 20878

Park entrance fee: $3 for non-MD residents, $2 for MD residents

I will scout for a spot during that day...ideally the same spot as this spring or last year...both in the 'Oriole' section.



240SX owners from VA/DC/MD area are welcome to join in on this meet.

Now we don’t need five people bringing ketchup and six bringing napkins…I’m talking about chips, soda, burgers…you know the good stuff for a BBQ. We pretty much need food, drinks, utensils, napkins, charcoal and trash bags.

Alcohol is only welcomed for those of legal age, cause you might get carded (not by me..park police). I don’t want to see anyone getting hammered and I definitely don’t want to see any drinking and driving.

I’m going to update this post with the roster of those that are bringing something to this meet.

In the event of rain, the BBQ will be moved to the following Saturday. Is there anyone that is willing to meet up with me early?

TrueVillan - Feel free to join the forum. It's small compared to NICO (by far) but once in awhile there are good meets posted and its a good way to see the faces being the user names.

You can bring whatever you want, ideally something that is not on the list or what you think you'd want cooked.

I don't know if I would feel un-comfortable or not... =T Is anyone else going that hasn't met (Physically) w/ NICO members in the MD/VA/DC area? Korean BBQ is good....but...i never had it outdoors...so use to eating it indoors.

You'll be fine not knowing anyone...heck i don't know anyone on here.

I will usually chime in with a one liner or two and get a small chat going. I'll try to talk to everyone that shows up and excuse me if I make an *** out of myself...just trying to make other people comfortable.

SAD DAY im so blown im at work right now. I should be heading up to clopper right now. anybody down for going again next month? I vote lake needwood park for this one.
