240sx 89 pcv valve location?

Hi, Where is the location of the pcv valve?

the metal box on the pasanger side of the engine behind the throttle body, that says eccs. there is a bolt sticking out of the top right of it, mine was rusty, and there is a hose going to it. its about halfway down

Yeah, that's the intake manifold. Where it says "ECCS", just to the right of it (if you are standing at the front bumper), it screws into the manifold on one end and the other end has a 5/8" tube that seems to disappear downwards.

Word of advise, go to the local parts store for this part and it will be around half the cost of the dealer one. I just replaced mine a month ago.

or you can spray alot of carb cleaner into it to break up all of the deposits and it will work fine. blow into both sides, air should only flow one way and it wont flow a lot.

on the metal box for the intake, it says eccs on it and it is on the passanger side of the engine. from the front of the car: it is on the right side sticking up and is about halfway down the box. there is a hose that goes down to the crankcase. mine was rusty if that helps

Mostlikly cheaper to buy a new PCV valve than enough Carb cleaner.

But you are correct, it would help unsick it.
