I recently bought another 240sx 1992 with 175k body is nice and i've never had a 240sx with that many miles and i was wondering how long should i expect it to last with regular tune-ups. As of now the engine area is bone stock, i mean BONE STOCK, everything is exactly how it was when it left the factory! With no smoke coming out the exhaust and 1-2 drips of oil on the motor itself! Engine does not tremble at all! I've already ordered full exhuast, and intake. That maybe about it on the mods(for now). Here's some pics of the body (i should have taken pics of the engine!!! will do asap)

if the body is clean as hell, then i'd say 2k is a decent price. dunno, at 175 though, that's quite a bit, but if it's running perfectly, I'd say go for it.

Is it a 5spd?

For a good solid running 5spd hatch with no rust, $2k is a good deal, even a bargain, in some parts of the country.

And that color will add to the price, that's a very rare color. Don't ever repaint it, if you want another color, buy another car and sell that one.

that car looks like mine. i paid 1650 to a private seller. car was 5 speed base model and had 141,xxx miles. only problem was cracked dash, broken oem stereo and speakers, and dent in driver rear 1/4 panel. this was in cali btw..i scored a decent deal.

the dent in the rear is asking for a wide fender coversion

I bought it! Ha, and yeah that side fender is looking for a wide body fender haha! Yup! There is no rust. The only thing wrong is that little ding in the back, its 5 spd and the dash is cracked. The car looks as if it was factory painted not so long ago. The inside is a disaster though. Its all brown carpet and tan dash. The motor head is gold. I've been thinking about gutting the interior?

Yay or nay?

Yea i would leave it for the time being and then do a swap with the interior for a black one. How much did you pay?
