Is it better to put a skyline engine in the 240 or the sr20det ? basicly i know sr20det runz 322hp and 285lb-ft of torque but how much would the skyline engine run?

I cant believe I'm gonna even touch this one...

Engine forums, use them.

Also, asking "which is better" is a real bad idea. People will tell you that the one they have/like is "better" by default of human nature.

here are the lowdowns..

Potential Power (least to greatest)SR -> KA-T - >RB

Installation work (LTG)SR -> RB -> KA-T

Ease of installationSR -> KA-T -> RB

SizeSR -> KA-T -> RB

PriceRB costs a hell of a lot more,

SR and KA-T are debatable depending on how extensive you get with KA-T

Where are you getting your facts!? If the SR had 322 hp everyone and their brother would have one, Of course the RB is going to make more power (unless you go rb20) but like said before, it is very difficult to get an RB in a 240, SR will be almost a direct fit due to it being the stock engie for the same car in japan, BUT Heres the kicker If you want HP and TQ but u dont want to spend a lot of money, go KA-T (it beats SR's if tuned properly )
