The sensor to the MAF has 3 wires.Can you tell me which is ground? There is black wire and another black one with a white stripe down the center. And a third wire.

I was told to ground this to the engine to avoid faulty ghost codes showing I have a leaking injector. Code 45.

Do you have an ohmmeter? Measure the resistance between each wire and chassis ground. Or check the FSM for wire colors.

I am wanting to think that it was the solid black wire, I was just re-doing my ground the other day and I think that was the one I was working on but check the FSM to make sure
