Here's the rundown, I'm young, I want a 240SX, and I want to know what it takes turn one into a machine of rage on the blacktop.Everything from engines to sound systems to body kits.Hook me up.

Well...

start by going to the 240/Silvia general and technical sections of NICO. LOTS of good information there.

Lucky for you... with the growing popularity of the 240... there are a number of good engine options.

Swaps that are popular...

SR20DETCA18DETRB25DETRB26DET

Another option is any number of after-market turbo kits for the stock KA24DE or older KA24E.

Beyond that... it's a great handling car with UN-impressive stock power~~

The KA is a stout engine... but it lacks HP in stock form. The torque isn't bad... but it won't get you the "rage" you're talking about.

Also I don'e believe any sound system (at least not any that I have seen) cause rage or tearing *** on blacktop. I hear turbos do the trick with a little work and tuning though.
