So why would you want to put 19-10 year old wheels that could be structurally deficient and could fail i.e. break? The SL wheels are decent enough and there are plenty of aftermarket wheels that are a better choice if you have just the S. Just sayin.

10-19...

Stock wheels rarely fail and break. The 20+ year old wheels I had on my Z faired much better than the car itself did, in the Northeast as well, not SoCal.

The why is probably best answered by "because he wanted to".

I understand what you are saying and I don't put much thought into it, just wanted to do it...if it breaks, then it breaks...oh well...lol! But the rims are beat up and I saw no cracks in the rims themselves, so they were maintained pretty well I should say. No worries about it, just wanted to have better rims for less and I don't like STEELIES on the car...you might agree with this...LOL!

i heard you did pretty good at the track yesterday... too bad i couldnt make it... maybe next month... i think if you would have borrowed my strut bar you could have beaten gregs time... i think the socal crew is setting the standard for the entire versa crowd in everything we do, i think that it mostly comes from Bob...

I'm giving my 15'' tear drops rims to my girlfriend for her Versa for this winter. She didn't wanted the s13 7 spokes so they shall go on my SpecV for winter.
