240s are getting really popular in my town...

Before today I only knew about five 240s in my town... mine, 2 of my friends have them, and 2 that I see parked at various places... Well, I was driving home from school, and on 1 road and a timespan of 10 minutes I see 4 more... a white convertable, a green FB, green coupe, and a grey FB. I just thought it was really weird since I thought they were quite rare in south louisiana....

How many 240s do you think are in your town? Rough guess

There's a number of stock ones here in the Albany NY area... but modified? Besides myself, I can only think of 4 others.

I see tons of 240's now. Just yesterday I saw a s13 coupe with the stock spoiler, but on TOP of that was mounted one of those lame almuminum spoiler from like autozone. 240's are and have been pretty mainstream for a while now.

Last year, I had one of like 3 S14's on my campus (Cal Poly Pomona) which wasn't bad since it's in LA and it's expected that there would be more here than anywhere else. This year, they are everywhere, it sucks. I see at least 10-15 a day it seems

I'm thinking 240s are about as popular as they were in 1998 unless someone found some in a warehouse recently?? But probably hundreds in my town.

damn...that must be nice...i see at least 10-15 a day as well...i live in southern cali and more and more little used-to-be ricers are sellin thier civics and buyin the 240's...especially the s14's.

Civics... they have taken over! Every car I look at is a honda, I am not lying! At least 5000 civics in my city! (yes 5000, no joke) I rarely see ricer hondas.... Thats a good thing... I think

ive seen 1 modified one in my town. And this is the second biggest city in Illinois, next to chitown. I love it, mines by far the nicest.

There are mass here in Cincy. Theres no really ricey ones though. SR's are EVERY where. Even a handfull of CA's. And a gold coupe with a Silvia front and a nice KA-T in it.

Let me see... there are five us from moscow here on NICO then I can think of 4 stock S13s and three stock S14s plus two swapped S13s and an S14 riding around on stupid looking chrome 19s. So I guess that makes it 15 in a town of about 20000 people.

i know what u mean bro, i live in south louisiana as well, heres the ones i know of running around that are in 'decent' condition: my 93 white hatch, lance's 92 white hatch, my g/f's green 95, mikes black 93 (body shop right now though), lances brother has a 95 w/slant eyes (white), eddie has a 9o hatch, mitch has a 97 5spd (black), bryan has an SRd 96 (black), tuan just bought a 93 hatch, theres a lot of em now , its wierd how many decent ones ive been seeing, and this isnt counting 3 others that are parked at their work places, i just dont kno the owners

yea, for a long time i thought i had the only s14 in my town. but this year, i have seen at least 10 of them, and my friend said he saw one the other day w/ a big front mount on it.

in columbia illinois pop of like 20,000 theres my 240 a white 95-96 and a black or dark green 95-98(only saw the back of it) so really only 3 that i know of lots of Neons Cavaliers Civics acouple 200sx

Because the older people that USED to own them, didn't spend much time on college campuses I presume. Now they are being bought by college kids and I see tons more of them. At least there aren't to many around when I go home, or there wasn't last time I went home. I've only seen like two other S14's in Santa Cruz. Odd thing though, when I went back to my HS, there were like 7 3000GT's, a couple of them VR4's. Rich kids must be movin in:rolleyes

<---- Ummmm, about 40% of however many were sold in CA. I figure 40%, given a 40/60 North/South split, and factoring in those which have been wrecked or taken off the road in one way or another.

I see 5-10 new ones every day. Most of them are S13 HB. I see a few coupes, and about equal number of S14s.

mine isnt rare by any means, but i tell u what, theres only maybe 4 clean hatches, 2 clean coupes, and perhaps 4 clean s14s , all of the others are beat up and stuff

Hey, what is "old" in your book? You do know that people are living longer now. Wanna hear something real sad....I was at this fancy retirement home and saw all these cool cars in the parking garage. That was the quietest parking garage I've ever seen too.
