My question is about using a 240mm clutch instead of a 225mm on a 240sx the 240sx flywheel can be machined to accept the 240mm clutch from a 280z,zx turbo or truck have you heard of this being done ?where could I get info on the clamping pressure for those applications listed ?

i would call jwt and ask them as they have some cross referenced clutch stuff. i doubt the stock clamping pressure will be too high for any of those but the z32 twin turbo clutch has a very high clamping pressure. its so high the car has a vacuum booster for the clutch.

Ok I will check with JWT.I found out that the 240sx flywheel doesn't work but I picked up a truck flywheel and that one will work for a 240mm clutch.I whent to daikins clutch web site and they had some kind of formula for figuring clamp pressure, which had alot to do surface area.I am hoping that going from 225mm to 240mm will make a big enough difference.
