Alright. I am continuing were I left off. Thank for all your support btw.I ordered the OSK timing chain from FRsport.I also ordered the OEM Oil Pump Valve Set from Nissan. Here is the OSK timing chain kit.I know when it comes to timing componants it should be OEM.But this was more suitable for my price range. I did much researchand found the OSK kit to be quite reliable.

Here is the Oil Pump Valve Set from Nissan.According to the FSM these pieces should be replaced.

I made #1 piston Top Dead Center.OSK kit came with 2 new bolts for the chain guide.torqued them down to ...

toqued in chain tensioner and opposite guide and used the head sprocket to hold the chain up. +Made sure yellow marks are alighned. In the meantime I used break cleaner and Simple Green to clean up the front cover.Scraped and cleaned the machined mating surface of the cover.

I removed the pump case. Becareful the screws tend to strip easily so make sure you use the correct sizescrewdriver. I removed the pump gears and cleaned them.I measured the gaps between my original pump gears and they're good. It's quite interesting the way the pump works, it's so simple. Here is the OEM valve set in the order it goes in. Primed the pump with new conventional oil.and torqued the case to the front cover assembly.Replaced the Front Main with the provided OSK seal, I used fresh motor oil to easily pop it in.

I used a Liquid Gasket bead around the front cover and used a provided O-Ring as indicated in the FSM. I alighned the oil pump inner gear with it's mating partner on the crankshaft I carfully pushedthe front cover into position. I toqued the front cover downusing the FSM reference.

I have my cylinder head.nothing special done. It was cleaned and new valve stem seal replaced.I had the machine shop do it so I have no pictures.

When I decide to rebuild my KA, I'll definitely use this as a reference. Great job so far.
