(1) a brand new Nismo 370Z

or
(2) a classic 240Z

what would you do?

That's what I was thinking exactly. More pointedly...for 43k I would have neither.elwesso wrote:For 43k, that would have to be ONE HELL of a 240Z!
370Z is nearly as light as my FRC, has 6 less horsepower, 9 and 10 inch wide wheels (where my C5 has 7.5 and 8.5), has seats that dont flop around and has double-wishbone (cept not with leafsprings like my C5). 370 is an outstanding vehicle for it's price. The Nismo version makes more HP than my Vette but I agree that 43K is too much for it, I'd much rather have a regular 370Z. They're giving away C6 Grand Sports nearly right now (a buddy of mine picked a 2012 up new for 48K) so I'd lean much more to that side than for a premium edition 370.MinisterofDOOM wrote:For 43k I wouldn't consider either Z. WAY too much money for a middle of the road sports car. It'd take a Hell of a lot more wow than a Z can provide to part me from that much dough.
I know. It doesn't look like that in Photobucket. I don't know what happened. It's perfect in my signatureWDRacing wrote: BTW, that image of Bella is awful.

Why in the world would I compare a 240sx to a 370Z?Xdisaster240sX wrote:I was disappointed to see you were talking about the 240z and not the 240sx[/img]

#yoloswag
but seriously, how can you compare a brand new sports car to a 20 year old POS ecobox?
I LOL'dMellowZ32 wrote:not even a coked out rick james would compare the two!
he'd be like: "you jive-a** turkey, that's like saying baking soda is similar to cocaine!
I'M RICK JAMES, b****!!"
Built, not boughtAce2cool wrote:Nah, but you CAN compare it when you're spending $43k on either. You can buy a great condition 240Z for $5k-$10k and drop the remainder into engine swap, maintenance, suspension, performance, ect, ect, ect....
OR you could buy a new 370Z and read the owner's manual. First option seems cooler-er.
