240 turns off while driveing

can someone help me out...my 240sx turns off while driving at high speed and in low speed.. when this happens i pull over and spray stating fluid in my intake and try to turn it on while giving it gas..this turn on my car...wat do i need to check and get fix??????

Does the cars power turn off, does the engine bog down then die, or does the engine just instantly cut off?

it could be a power problema spark, fuel, or air problem,or something else i dont know of but more information would help alot.

I had something similar and I replaced my distributor cap. My car would turn off at low rpms in 1st gear and begin to "bog" down at times at higher gears.

if it just shuts off out of nowhere with nothing telling you its acting funny then its your ignition switch

there are many electrical problems will make your car turn off.

ya dude they told me it can be the maf sensor of the compression aswell so idk which of the two it is...and its been killing me not to know wtf it is
