240 tails help

Dont know if this is a Type R post, cause i looked and didnt see anything like it, but.....

does anyone know how clearcorners.com does the de-orange-ing of the 240 HB tails? im getting my car painted and its either going to be black or deep red, and i wanted to use clear signals if i go with a black paint job. sooo, is it just striping it off with chemicals or do they make their own new lenses? thanks

im pretty sure he makes new lenses. you cant take the orange out of the plastic. gots to replace it all.

damn, that sucks. i dont really want to pay $225 for them, but they look so damn cool. hey, how much can you get a silvia conversion for? i see the stuff in the sig and wanted to know.

i was wondering about that also, because on the 300z u can take the lights out and put them in the oven then brake em open and take the red stuff out.. its like a film i guess... u could try doing that with the 240;s and see what u come up with... or just make your own out of plexi glass and sand blast it so its fogged up...

i think the s13 conversions run around 900 for everything. not sure though.
