I have a 1992 240 coupe, automatic,KA24DE, and I was wondering which engines will bolt in and what years they can be. I heard that a stanza had the same engine and it will work but dont know the year range.

Welcome to NICOclub. I'll save you some hassle and tell you to use the search button and cruise through our engine forums. Check out the sticky threads.

To answer your question... Lots of engines swap into the 240sx.

Keep in mind it's rear wheel drive.. so only other rear wheel drive motors can be used. The Stanza motor won't work...

The most popular swaps... SR20det. RB20det.RB25det.CA18det. Chevy LS1.

etc...

truth is...if ya have enough money....and enough time..you can put any motor in your 240 and make it work.....any motor...ive seen guys with turbines from helicoptors in them..but there loaded with jack!..what you should think about is your horsepower target..and chose your most commonly swapped motor that way...with consideration for what you can afford to pay a shop..or someone to help you....good luck...dont forget to get the electronics allso for your swap.
