240 sx engine flutering

I have a exhaust manifold problem and I am getting it repaired this week, however on Sunday I had put a few gallons of fuel in my tank and drove to where i had to go. about 4 hours later I got back into my car and the engine was acting if its bad fuel and slightly fluttering. Only in drive and reverse do i get these engine problems like its not getting the right amount of fuel. When I put the car in park there is not a problem. I have most of this problem when the engine is in drive at a stop light. What do you think this could be?

It could be bad gasoline. Run it close to empty and then put some fresh fuel in there. If that doesn't clear it up, then you can start troubleshooting.

is that possible to have a flutter with bad gas in drive but not in park with the engine in idle
