240 SX digital speedometer wiring

While splicing chewed up wires from the speed sensor, we noticed something weird and wanted to ask before we went any further

Off the speed sensor is a single green and a single black wire

These tie into a yellow wire with green stripe and a yellow wire with black stripe

Does the solid green go to the yellow with green or the yellow with black

The old connector would lead us to believe green to yellow with black yet that doesnt seem right

Any help ?

i have the same problem.... someone did a half @$$ job on an auto to 5 speed swap and im tryin to fix there mess up and so can anyone help with this speedo wire problem...but i guess i just plug and play and see what happens

ok so all i did was put the yellow with green chaser with the green wire off the speedo sensor and then the yellow with black chaser with the black wire coming off the senors......and done i have the speedometer
