Ok, so I noticed a few months ago my car would kind of rumble under braking if I was turning left. Knowing my front brake rotors were warped slightly I replaced them and the pads as well. Solved my pulsating pedal problem, but not the rumble, it wasn't bad and nobody could figure out why so I decided to ignore it. It didn't happen that often.

Well I hit a curb hard, did 600 bucks worth of suspension damage to the left front and blew out the left rear shock. It's all fixed except the shock.

But now when I take left turns sometimes the whole car starts shaking VIOLENTLY. And I mean hard, like making chirping noises from the tires it's bouncing so hard. It does this like one in every 10 hard turns or so. Also at turn in I hear a very distinct POP from the front end. The pop happens in EVERY TURN that causes body roll. It pops on the left front in left turns and the right front on right turns.

Nothing is visibly broken and EVERYTHING is new on the left front. New control arm, new lower A arm (strut), new ball joint, and new bushings.

wouldn't be surprised if you bent a mounting surface..like the frame side tension rod mount..maybe even the LCA mount.

it pull at all while your driving?..and how'd you hit it?..sliding into it or just running over it. if it was a wheel hub, you'd hear it constantly, and i dunno if it'd make your **** hop..

I'm kindof afraid of that. Alignments good and he said the frames straight. It doesn't pull at all. My camber is at +.30* on the left front and -1.20* on the right front. He said it's non adjustable unless I buy some aftermarket camber plates.

As for how I hit, I was brakes locked at 40mph with the wheel turned slightly to the right. I hit the 6 inch tall curb at a 45* angle to it and the car cought air off of it and landed in the grass and the left front wheel got pushed back into the wheel well. Only body damage was a chunk of my front lip got broken off.

The popping sound comes from the center of the car, like under the motor where the lower A arm attaches to the frame area. Like I said it comes from the left of center in left turns and right of center on right turns.

I tihnk that could be the rack. Did you look under the car after the accident? The curb coulda hit the crossmember and steering rack.

The only damage under the car that's visible from the curb is that my resonator is bent and it's causing my car to sound rice as hell, but other than that there's no dent's or dings under the front of the car that I can see.

I get what your saying though, I'm taking it to a shop to have a tire fixed today and I'll see what they say too.

positive camber will prob be something bent. Chances are its the upper strut mount, take a look and see how close the wheel is to the top of the strut ... also check for balding on the inside of the tire where it may be making contact with the strut tower because of positive camber.

Well I got it fixed today. Well, what could be fixed. The shaking is unfixable because the shake is wheelhop caused by a blown left rear shock. When you get on the gas in a left turn now the left rear just bounces like crazy.

The popping is fixed along with the positive camber issue. turns out the lower strut was loose were it attaches to the frame (the new bushing settled opening a gap) and was popping back and forth. So that's fixed now and my car turns good again with exception of the wheelhop bs.
