Nothing wrong with swapping a Toyota motor into a Nissan chassis. Sounds like wanna-be purists just wanting to hear themselves speak. Sure it may take more work than swapping in a RB, but the motor is more easily available in the US, and the power potential is up there right with the RB. Reliability on the other hand almost makes it worth the extra effort to swapping in the Toyota motor. Not only are they indestructable to anyone who isn't burning out for half a minute every other day and such, but the parts to replace what needs replacing are more available in the US. Now I know the popularity of the RB is growing, thus making parts more available, but this is a motor that actually came in a car in the US, and it's not 20 years old.
Mmm, I can't wait to swap a 2jz in a Cressida
