My car started I drove it. Got to the destination and then when I came back out to car it would not start. Got ride home after trying different ways of starting. Went back to car 4 hours later and it fired right up.

When I turn the key there is nothing but a clicking coming from the front left side fusebox under the air intake. All accsys work fine. Battery is good.

I looked in the fuse box by the battery and I think everything looks ok, but that doesnt say much because this is my first Nissan. Can someone post a pic of their fuse box near the battery, I suspect something in there is not right. Relay labeled ignition coil is loosey goosey. ( but I dont think that is the main issue)

Please any suggestions, I have done some reading in here and am hearing two words RELAy and STARTER.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE......Daily driver.THANKS

Sounds like possible starter issue, pretty typical for them to not start after a hot soak shut down when they go out.

How difficult is a starter to replace on a 240?

Also are there diiferent ones, I called one place and they said there were 3 posibilites and all three were expensive. I found it at Napa for $ 135 will that work?

Thanks

The main difference would be weather it was manual or automatic trans, but there may also be warrenty price levels, like liftime warranty, 1 yr,3 months each having its own price. I really dont recommend aftermarket starters as they dont seem to last as long from my experiance. Have you checked with one of our sponser dealers for them? good discounts through this site.

So how difficult is it to install on a scale from 1 - 5 ?

Is it worth doing it on my own?

its a bit of a bugger but you can do it yourself. getting to the mounting bolts is probably the most difficult part of it.
