240 starting problem when hot

here is what's happening when the car warms up and i try to start it sometimes it takes several tries to get it to turn over and the i have to keep giving it gas to keep it from cutting off. also the rpms are about 1500 i ceck to old post could not really find anything that really fix the problem

try changing the temp sensor on the intake that goes to the ecu. when its not working or is the wrong one exe.(i had a 96 temp sensor in a 91) and when warm it doesnt start. or its not giving the right ohm to the ecu
