I'm kind of new to the area. I know of Fastlane, but they seem to be way overpriced and I think the other shop is "Nexxon?"(down the street from Fastlane). I don't know much about Nexxon. Can anyone let me know of their experiences with these shops or let me know a good shop around this area.

There is only one shop in the Tacoma area worth going to in my opinion. It's called "Axiom Motorsports". It is on Steilacom blvd, right off of South Tacoma way. Once you turn onto Steilacom blvd from South Tacoma way, about 1/4 a mile up, they will be on your right. Cream colored buildings with green metal roofs. Talk to Kyle (shop manager) or Randy (one of the techs). They are a great group of guys, and know their Nissans really well. They have built a few cars around here that belong to friends of mine.

So where in Lacey are you at? I'm over by the Lacey Costco...

I will be throwing a meet in Olympia at the Nissan dealership around the end of March. I'll post up more info when I have the details worked out...

That's the name of the shop, Axiom. I kept on thinking it was Nexxon. I'm closer by Pacific Ave and College. Would you recommend getting a motor from these guys? Because I don't have much tools and free time on my hand, I'm debating to do the swap myself or have a shop do it for me. If their pricing and turn around time isn't bad, I might be more tempted to go with the shop.

Thanks for mentioning U.P. Garage. I went there today and talked to Doug. I'm trying to work out a deal on a SR20.

Marc at EOPerformance closed his shop. Don't know why but I believe the shop next door to him is still open. I've seen their stock. SR20 of all gens, CA18's, and plenty of RB's. I've even seen a 4AGE there (Not that any of you care about that). And yes their in Monroe.

If you go to the link up there. They show how much they charge for a motorset. If you're looking for them to do the swap, they charge $1500. Which is a bit hefty if you ask me. For that much, I'll go buy my own tools and do it myself. I believe Fastlane charges about the same for a motorset and labor. I'm going to check with Axiom tomorrow.

OMG, Axiom wants between $2700 to $2900 for a S13 redtop motorset. For that much I'm going to go with UP Garage or a NICO sponsor.

Just got my HKS Hi-Power Exhaust installed from U.P. garage for $45. While I was there I checked prices for various things, they seem pretty reasonable.

Axiom is ok......they did my swap, and they are expensive. But it wasn't a very clean swap my air filter is just sitting there along with my fuse box. Just there moving around.

I would go with Up Garage or Drift Office to be honest.
