I dont own one yet but I want to buy my buddies car that went to the army. I drove my other friends 240 and it was fun. I just discovered autocrossing and its an absolute blast. Does anyone think an 89 coupe 240 150k miles with neeper rims,exhaust, all power, leather interior and a working HUD worth 1000 dollars even though it needs a new transmission but runs fine. Its an auto and I want to convert it to a 5 speed. Wheres the love? in the 240 baby! ohh ya.

hey thanks, the exhaust is 2 1/2" crust bent cat-back to a cheapo ebay dtm style mufler but it sounds pretty tight. the rims are sweet looking too.

I'm sure you have all seen pics of the car. It's gibbo80's old ride. He left for the army and doesn't want to mess with it anymore. I wish I could swap the seats into my hatch, but the back seat wouldn't fit. The rims are Neeper Synchros in 16". Any of you Indy guys remember it I'm sure. But BigEDogg is correct. He is hooked on 240's after driving my 89 hatch and seeing all of us go auto crossing last weekend. Can't wait to h ave another 5 sp 240 in our circle

yea they are fun, especially they have the SR in them!!

but make sure when u are about to have some "fun", check ur tires!! that's speaking from experience...

1000 sounds good to me. Altiman why can't you swap the back seats. They both fold down and they are at the same angle. Is there a different matterial such as the gray cloth. I can't rmember what gibbo had in the interior. What happened to him getting a swap and all that jazz?

He decided against the swap in favor of a spec-v or something of the likes. He is currently at boot camp, and wont be back for 15 weeks, so there is no reason to put any money into his 240. He might as well just sell it and buy something nicer when he comes back. His interior is all black with black leather seats, HUD, digital speedometer, all power, moonroof and everything works. It is a very beautiful interior.

im working up to importing a 6th gen gt4. i dont care if i get it illegally. i want one and i will prolly have to lift a vin from a junked 94-99 celica GT and use it but it will be worth it
