240 problem

hello guys, i am havin a problem with my 240...whenever i put the car in first and start moving i give it gas and wen the rpms reaches 3k it sounds as if the car is already revvin up...do u guys have any idea what could it be? ecu?transmission?i ve been searchin but couldnt really find anythin similar...the car is a 95 with a KA24de in the only mods i have is a cold air intake, hearders and exhaust which which came wen i bought the car..thanks i would really appreciate any ideas

Can you please rephrase your problem. I have no idea what you are talking about from your description. Also, being as detailed as possible would only help.

i had something similar with mine. i didn't feel any difference in power just noise. the clutch fan for the motor was locked so it ran all the time 3k rpm sounded like 6k rpm. i just took it off and got electric fans

Easy. Check your MAF

I checked maf and also cleaned it and the clutch of the fan is also good...but the car stops acceleration when it hits the 2.5k rpms or so..could it be that my ecu went into limp mode?...i check for vacum leaks i cant seem to find any crack on hoses ect..any help will be aprreciated...
