Hey everyone. I bought my 240 and it's ECCS Relay (labeled as EGI Relay) was clicking on and off while the car was off, until it would kill the battery. The problem was the Black/White wire that comes off the relay and goes to the distributor was completely fried, and melted to the 2 Red wires that also come off that relay. I have since replaced the Black/White wire and also the 2 Red wires, and the clicking is gone. While looking for the problem i took out the entire Upper Engine Harness, and some of the Body Harness (from the Fuse Box to the ECU). When I put the key in the ignition and turn it to accessory or try to start it, the EGI/ECCS Relay clicks then I hear a buzzing noise coming from what seems to be the transmission pan, then the relay clicks again and the buzzing stops. I'm not able to start my car. My battery was at 11.67 volts. Could a bad ground, or a blown fuse create this problem? I have to check to see if the starter is getting power still, but im going to try that next.
Thanks for the help.
