How much do you torque 240 lugs? I have alloy Konig 17's. Called some tire shops and got different answers. Anyone know?

Thanks,Clockwork

Go to a good trusted most respected Tire/Wheel Shop and stick with what they have or use.

With the factory alloys the FSM states 72-87ftlbs all around, should be the same with the Konig's

yes, torque goes by car, like tire inflation, not by wheel or tire, etc...

87 ft/lb would be the max to run, unless you use NISMO studs...-chet

Not really the same thing if your wheel falls off...your ***, I would torque it to the proper specs. Lug nuts arent one thing you go half-assed on

Thanks guys, i torqued them to 85 ft. lbs. - which is what a good tire place said that asked for my car year/model. Another place i called said 100 ft. lbs. for any alloy wheel - so i guess i won't go there, ever

NOOB question, but...

How can you tell how many lbs you've torqued the lug nuts?
