240 ka rb swap cluster problem

okay so its an original ka auto but has been swapped with a rb20det in a s14. I was wondering why the cluster doesn't read right, everything seems to be doubled. so if im doing 40 on it im actually doing 20 and so fourth. any idea as to what may be going on? Is this because its a cluster outta a 4 cyl running on a 6cyl car?

Yes that's excactly why. There is a converter you can get to fix it or you can swap in a j30 speedo.

Ah i see, i was hoping it would be as simple as resetting it. but i have to go another route i will. Thanks for the help!

I read somewhere that the tach is as simple as adjusting some set screw on the back of the cluster? Not sure but may lead to the answers?

You can modify the ka cluster but it won't be very accurate.
