when someone asks for help and they are new to this forum give them a link to some bit of information on what they are doing. everybody starts somewhere. If he desires to do this it will be a learning experiance for him and maybe he will gain some useful knowledge he would be able to share with this forum during the process. Further more when someone first visits this forum they may not know their way around and havent seen the article section or not sure on how the search function works. I know when I came here I didnt know sh** on how to find anything. It was 2 months before I realized there was a hugh FAQ other then the one in the top bar for site info.

My point even if someones idea seems outragous to you it may not be for them. Let them find out via reasearch and advice how difficult or costly it is on their own. That is why this site was created.

Scott....;)

KiNG Of CeLLZ the key place you need to know for such a swap is the bank. Like [s3] said, expect the cost to be 15-20k just for the engine install. There's also apparently a shop in Okinawa that has already done the swap of the 26 into the S chassis but yeah it runs about 15k. Although I think HT was looking for someone to be who would be willing to pay for the rb26 swap. The RHD conversion is easier if you do it at the same time as the motor swap (you'll probably need to find someone who's done a sr conversion to get the interior pieces, firewall, steering rack, etc) and you'll need to have hydraulic lines custom bent to fit. If you don't know how to remove any of those parts, you're in for a treat at the mechanics. Don't know anyone who's done the sr or ca swap you're in for more cost for those RHD parts. A rough estimate would be 1-2k for the RHD conversion. Then the s15 conversion is 2-3k.

I guess anything can be had if you throw enough money at it eh? But apparently we're talking to someone with a S14 w/ s15 conversion with rb26 in his gold tooth right? Seriously kid, drop the attitude.

I'll try and refrain from flaming but WHY would you want a right-hand-drive conversion...Honestly. Were you born outside the states?

Off-topic, hating on hondas really shows some immaturity. Cars are cars.

veilsides14 did the rb26 swap his website is lilgtr.com. i was goint o go off too but NISTECH calmed me down. all your question have been answered jsut learn how to search. btw veilsides14 spent about 15k for the rb26 to fit doing the work himself (custom manifold and t66)

Im going to have to say that the s15 conversion may be 2 grand, for the parts to do it with. plan on spending 3.5-5k if you cant do the work yourself, and it depends on the quality/amount of work that is done. RHD I have no idea about, but I would estimate at least 2k for parts and install if you dont do it yourself. then plan on atleast another 20k for the rb26 to be turnkey ready. plus your goin to want wheels, suspension, maybe body kit and repaint since the only reason you have to justify spendin that much is to show it, or you have money out the a$$ like you said and just dont give a f***. your looking at waaayyy over 30 grand, but its your money and decision. personally, id just import either a r34 or s15, but I guess its really upto you. good luck with it man.

I think the rhd would be easier if he got a good front clip of the skyline. then he just has to bolt it up..;)

those sure were some daym heavy mods, but if he was willing to do most the werk himself it would still be realistic. judging by his questions it doesn't seem he can do most of the custom werk. he'd hafta convert it to rwd.

- rb26dett 5-6k- strawberry face - 2-2.5k- rhd you could prolly get the dash cheap off e bay or someone widda front clip.

but if someone just got a accident settlement for like 20g's then they could do all this but to just come right out the box and want all that **** is like whoa! start small buddy then twerk your way up
