I am currently in the middle of a '91 Nissan 180sx rebuild. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are very many differences between the '92 Nissan 240sx lower wiring harness and the '91 Nissan 180sx lower wiring harness?

Shouldn't be too terribly different. The main difference would be the inclusion of the clutch start relay on the USDM models. Other than that, the lower harnesses should be identical. I run a USDM auto lower on my SR20 manual setup.

The EFI systems are obviously different, and the main chassis harnesses only have a few small differences, such as the inclusion of a 12v power circuit to the ignition system on the JDM model.

I am planning on installing my ka24de into the 180 for now as i have a 240 parts car. Since they are identical i can just leave the 180 lower harness in?

That should work. Just remember you'll need to do some splicing work on the upper harnesses.
