240 89 transmission conversion.

Im in the process of swaping from auto to manual and my question is.Do i need to get the drive shaft from the donor car or can i use the current auto one.Thanks I really need this car as a daily driver.

u need the manual drive shaft. the auto drive shaft is a bit longer.

BTW ive been reading the i only need the front piece of thedrive shaft plz correct me if im wrong.

All years should fit.

I haven't heard anything about using just the front half before, but it would probably be easier just to get the whole thing. A salvage yard isn't going to want to sell half of a driveshaft, then they are left with a useless half. Shouldn't be that expensive anyway.
