my 92 240sx + a s30 240z front end.

Been wanting to do this for quite sometime. i have all the tools/conections or w.e to make it happen. first things first does anyone have any pics? i have a couple but its hard to find. also theres a 240z locally that got hit in the rear in 97, and has been rotting away in a backyard since. i talked to him, and the front end has one spot of surface rust throughout the whole front end. he's got a 73? 280z thats fully restored, so he knows whats stuff is worth, so its not like im getting a old lady willing to part with her old car.

when all is said and done, does anyone have an estimate of what i should buy the whole front end for?

fenders - hood- bumper- grill etc?

all custom, lots of fab work, so you can have crappy round headlights, I believe there is a comapny in japan that sells a kit instead of chopping, welding and blending allt he body panels yourself

oh and I assure you he doesn't have a 73 280Z, the 70-73 models were all 240Z, 74 was 260Z and 75-78 was 280Z, te only difference taht effects you si the 260-280 put the parking lights int he bumper and grill, the 240's put the parking lights int he lower valanve and have much smaller bumeprs the earlier they are the skinnier and lighter they are, and you do not want to be in a frotn end collision with a 240Z bumper, worthless for protection

You really want it to look like this? zer...F.jpg

The 240SX is too wide to pull off the 240Z look. I think the stock S13 looks better. If you really want to do a front end conversion, shoot for an R32 front end or something. You could even try a Z31 front end if you want to be different. But I have yet to see an S13 with an S30 front end conversion that looks good.

I actually like that car! Maybe I'm retarded.. but w/e. It would probably only look good on a hatch, but I'd love to see it on a coupe... with different wheels though.
