I'm new to this forum. Has anyone installed 24's on their QX56? if yes, please advise the Offset used and tire size and if you had any issuesof rubbing? I guess I am deciding between 22's or 24's

I'm going through the same situation. I'm scared that 22" will too small for the QX 56. I just don't know.

go with at least 24's , 22's are very small for the big suv trust me. Ive sold a lot of 22's to the armadas and they all come back to get 24's let me know if you intrested in buy some wheels 817-477-3575

Do you have a toll free number? Do you have a website? Which wheels do you carry? Are you willing to ship to Canada? If so how much would 24's with 305/35/24's be to ship to Edmonton, Alberta Canada with postal code T6R 0C2?

Thanks LowincQX26

I am looking to get these wheels http://www.bossmotorsports.com...d=355

They only have 12mm or 30mm, do you think 30mm is just to tucked in for the aggressive look.

Installed the 24" rims this week-end with 285/40/24 tires (almost a 33" tall tire) , the rims are 24x10 with 12mm offset. It is perfect no rubbing at all.

with the 40 series tire i have plenty of side wall so I will not worry as much about rough road and pot holes . because I have 30 series tires on my Benz and the rims get really hammered and become out of round after time.

Off set is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The assumption is the numbers on the site is "+" offset. Thus, the lower the number the more aggreasive or more the wheel will have a deep dish. the higher the number the more the wheel will be tucked in.

I like my wheels flush with the fenders so I like +10 or +12 offset, +30 is going to give you more of the factory look (more tucked in look vs the wider stance.

Now with 305/35/24 running the 10mm offset you might rubb the inner fender moulding during turns.

So would the 35's be too much ? how about the 285/40/24 with the 10 off set or the 35 offset ?

I am running the 285/40/24 with 12 offset, it fits perfect. going to 10, that is only 2mm differeence which is .08"(5/64"), I would think it would work just fine, and on extreme turns like a U-turn you might get a little rub inside the wheel well, which you will not even know it.

Plus the 285/40/24 are about $20 cheaper per tire too.

What about the 35offset with the 40's? What kind of look would that give me. Thanks for your help

Going 35 vs 10 offset would put your wheels 1inch from the flush line of your fenders. It will look alright, it will look like the stock set up when view straight on or from behind.

just throwing it out there, but i feel everyone on the 22s possibly being too much... but 24s? seems just too big.

I've had my 22's for 3 years now. I guess it depends on the wheel but these are the right size for me...

The 20's that come on it stock are pretty tall, but those 24's are a nice touch and the ride is still very smooth.photobucket.com

I'm new to this site. I recently purchased an 08 Armada LE about 6 months ago and I just ordered 24" inch Lexani wheels for it. I was curious about what brand of tires to go with for a 285 40 24 size tires. There isn't that many choices out there. What tire did you go with? I'm leaning toward the Toyo proxe ST. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
