My G35 went to the dealer for a flashing air bag warning light.

I got a new 2010 G37 with 2k miles on it as a loaner

Having read a few posts recently complaining of poor gas mileage I drove with a light foot and watched the display rise from 23 to over 26 MPG
The 7 speed automatic has the engine turning around 2k RPM at 65 MPH. The engine management control system gets better gas mileage out of this 328 HP engine than my 50 hp 1969 VW beedle did.
Unfortunately I did not have it long enough to go thru a full tank of gas and divide gallons into miles traveled.
They did vastly improve the dip stick for checking oil placing it in easy reach.
My Blackberry paired easily recognizing my entire phone book.
My only complaints are no link light indicated the phone is paired and no scrolling stock quotes on XM CNBC channel 129. I like keeping an eye on my 401k plan during afternoon drive time.
Otherwise a fun, comfortable and a great vehicle to drive

Tentative target is after the Obama reelection in 2012
I expect my 401k to have risen sufficiently to pay cash for a new one :bigthumb:

"no link light indicated the phone is paired"

The certer display tells you that the phone is linked and also tells you the name and model phone that is linked.
Buy the car you will find out a lot more and you will be surprised!

What do you have to press to see that?
On my G 35 the Blackberry pairs automatically. The link light by the sun roof flashes and turns steady when the phone is paired after either starting or going into the accessory position.
On the G37 I had to stare at my Blackberry and press ok when it asked if I wanted a connection to "My Car"
I never saw anything on the center display. I will check that out.

Did your G37 car have the Nav system?

Only you would think about fuel economy on a loaner car! I used to use I30 loaners to "learn how ABS works" in wet parking lots :D

Now I avoid the loaner so that I don't get the urge to dump the '05 and get a new G.
