24/7 Fuel Pressure?

Hey everybody..recently ive noticed that even if i dont start my engine up for 2-3 days straight i have FULL fuel pressure..I have a sard adjust fuel pressure regulator and the gauge i have for it always reads full fuel pressure no matter when the last time i drove the car was..it never used to be like this it just one day started happening..also what should the fuel pressure be with 550cc injectors and do i set that with the vac line connected or disconnected? thanks

most "good" FPR's will hold residual pressure when the engine is off, meaning you will always have fuel pressure. The cheapo FPR's like the megan's do not hold any pressure.

cool so then i have a good fpr..good to know..what should i set it at with 550cc injectors and do i set it with the engine running and no vac?

Set your FPR with the vacuum line disconnected to 43.5psi when you hook the vac line back up you will see the psi drop to approxiamately 40-41psi

forgot to mention that i wondered to myself why i dont keep mine set at this pressure..so i went out and adjusted it and i remembered after starting the car up that its b/c my car runs like absolute crap with the Fuel pressure at this setting. If i give it gas the rpms automatically drop and the car shuts off..wierdest thing ive ever seen..pretty much if i want to shut my car off i just have to give it gas..idk if its b/c i have bigger injectors or if it has to do with my rom-tune.. does anybody have any input on this?
