Hi all,

This is for my 98 maxima se. I have the original 16" 5 spoke aluminum rims. Original tires are 215/55. Was wondering if I can use 235/50 instead on same rims. Would it fit/look good?
According to the 1010tire website tire calculator, 235/50 fits 6.5 to 8.5" wide rims.

Thanks

Heeter

It should fit, but I will refrain from imagining how it might look.

In your opinion, it won't look okay?

I can't visualize what it is going to look like.

The tire will be wider than the rim and showing some overlap...thus, may look a bit bloated on the car.

Great, thanks for your input.

Was just wondering if that would look funny. Sounds like it will.
