Will 255/45 18 tires be ok on a m35x?
Based on the calculations they will fill the wheel well a little better than
The stock tires.

You would need to post the size of the rims...

Are the wheels stock? And what is the wheel width? If they are 7.5" wide, then 255 tires are a bit too wide for that tire and potentially unsafe - you might experience separation of the bead from the tire at normal pressures. If at least 8.0" or 8.5" wheel width, then they should fit the wheel.

Every tire size has a specific range of wheel widths that it is designed for - being under or over that range by more than 0.5" tends to negate the effect of having a wider width tire. If wheel width is too narrow for a given width tire, the edges of the tread will lift slightly and you may have less tire patch actually touching the ground than a narrower width tire. Compensating by reducing pressure can be dangerous on our heavy cars - load capacity depends on proper inflation pressures.

Just remember that on your X model, all four wheels and all four tires should be identical (they don't have to be stock, just "identical") ... gotta keep it that way to make sure that the ATTESA does not get undue wear and tear. :yesnod

And, of course, welcome to NICO! :dblthumb:
