Can anyone recommend a good 235/40/19 ALL SEASON tire? Do they even exist? I have been able to find nothing! Tirerack search yields 4 results in that size.

For 19x8.5" you want 245/35, 245/40 or 255/35. With 245/35 you will be closest to stock diameter but have very little sidewall. 245/40 and 255/35 offer a little bit more sidewall but are more expensive.

the tires will be alil stretched but you'll be fine. I like the look of the tires being alil stretched vs. too big of a tire.

If you get 245/35/19, the sidewall should fit an 8.5" wide wheel exactly meaning no stretch at all. Stretching tires is an unsafe practice. The ability of a tire to stretch varies greatly between tire names. One should never recommend to someone else to run stretched tires especially without knowing what specific tire they are looking at.

I was really interested in the Nitto Neo Gen, Im pretty sure it comes in 245/35. Second choice Falken F452s which I think is available in a lot more sizes. I just used one of theose calculators and it seemed that 235/40 would have been indeal, however literally not available anywhere.

I like the idea of 245/35 fitting flush with the wheel, but Id like a tiny bit more sidewall. I'll plug 245/40 in and see if thats do-able for factory spec.

Thanks all. Never put wheels on any of my cars/trucks before, still learning.

So I ended up going with 245/40 Falkens, really didnt want to sacrifice too much sidewall and this tire is a perfect fit.

Thanks again to all for the input.

What about 235/35/19 on a 8.5? Would that be stretching it out a bit?

F452s, I think the final price was somewhere around $171 each. I got a package deal with my wheels so all the numbers got mashed together in my head, all I really remember was the final total.

No stretch, that size is typically fine for 8-9.5" wide rims.

For 245/40/19 you paid $160?

Like I said Im not sure if $171 was the exact price per tire but I think so. I also got free mount and balance, lifetime replacement, and free shipping. I searched packages at about 4 different sites and Discount Tire Direct was actually cheapest. I may have paid more for the tires technically, but that just means I got the wheels cheaper. They also gave me a free set of black lugs instead of chrome, all the other sites wanted to charge me extra for them.
