Hello all, I have a 23 Rogue SL Prem with 2800 miles on it. So I left work today, got in car and pressed the start button with foot on brake like usual. It started, but then stalled about 2 seconds later. Hit the start button again but it wouldn’t restart. Just the starter motor cranking for about 10 seconds. Tried 2 more times with same results. Finally powered down completely then it restarted fine. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

Could it have to do with this?

Affected Models/Years: 2021-2023 Rogue (T33)

"On affected vehicles, the Underhood Switching Module (USM, also known as IPDM) configuration for the Electrical Energy Management (EEM) may lead to a vehicle no-start condition."

Nope. The reconfiguration is to provide for a more aggressive charge curve from the alternator so the battery doesn't get too low to start the car. It won't cause a stall. And by the way, "USM" is Japlish from some undereducated technical writer on the other side of the pond. There's no mention of "USM" anyplace in the factory manual and no one in a Nissan shop calls it that. It's an IPDM.
