No reason you couldn't. Only real restriction is making absolutely certain that the tire you choose has equal to or greater than OEM load index.
Toyo knows people are putting 24, 26, and now 28" wheels on the H2, and there has been serious errors because for some time there was not a properly plus-sized tire that met the load requirement of the H2 in the larger than 23" sizes. Because of this, Toyo is one brand that will not (at least yet) enter the fray and build tires that are so close to, if not below, the load requirements. There's only so much a tire company can do, when budget restrictions for such a limited market come into play.
This was months ago, and looking around the industry today, with 28's about to be delivered to the doorstep of retailers everywhere, Kumho is releasing tires that carry a proper load rating for the most extreme of applications. An example is their 28" tire retailing at $1k per.
Just double check that load rating!!
Which Titan trim level did you get with what size tire?
