225/50/16 on 16x7.0?

I just ordered some gramlights 16x7.0 for my S13. Was wondering if 225/50/16 will fit... I know that many people running the 7.5 width use 225's but not sure if 7.0 is too narrow for that. Thanks..... I would rather run 215/50 but Toyo T1-S don't come in that size. Apparently its not a common size cuz most tires I like dont have it...so I figured I'd go wider rather than getting 215 in a higher profile.

they should fit... on my old car i had 205 when i was suposed to have 195... and they were 50 series tires... so i don't see why not

225-50-16 on a 7" wheel fits fine, no worries. good choice in wheels

I ran 225/50/16 t1s on 16x7 velox vx8r. they were nice bulged out and the sidewall was huge. didn't look good imo

If you are autocrossing go with the 205, if you are drag racing/street racing go with the 225.
