I just bought an 06 altima 2.5s and a friend of mine has some wheels that he used to have on his SRT4 and i thought I might try them on the altima... they are 225/45ZR17 and I think I remember my tires being 215/60r16... now the custom wheels/tires will be about 1" less in diameter and I read that having that much smaller of a diameter will affect brakes (antilocks?)... is that true and should I just buy the wheels and get new tires? The tires have about 5k on them

They are arospeed RS-GT gun metal with polished lip by the way...

Thoughts? Anyone else run this size tire without problems?

Tires are to small, you will need to stay within the +/- 3% range for safety reasons(braking issues). Your choices are either to not get them or replace the tires with a closer stock spec.
