Hey I already searched but couldn't find what i'm looking for. Does anybody know if a set of 18x7'' rims with 5.625" backspacing fit with 225/45r18 tires on an s13 with coilover's, without spacer's. Same size in front and rear.Thank you Mike.!

225/45-18?225/40-18 is already 25.10" tall, which is taller than your original equipment tires, but not by much. So if you really had to, you could get away with it, but you actually sacrifice response and torque...7" with a 5.625" backspace would be a 54mm offset! That will never fit!I can't remember the last time I saw an offset higher than 50!

Maybe I have the wrong backspacing I'll double check. What's the max offset I can get away with?

Your stock offset is 40. So if you buy a wheel lets say 7 inches wide with a 40 offset, it will be .5in closer to the fender than stock and .5in closer to your coilovers than your stock wheel. I personally, on a 7in wide wheel, would want a max offset of 32. That way your wheel clearance will increase .19 inches on the inside and increase .8inches on the outside. Do a search for offset calcualtor and use it it is very helpful

Like Jeff said, 32 is good

30 is good. Really good with 8" and 225 width tires. clearing coilovers and leaving just enough room for suspension travel without tire rubbing. 8" +30 I use 225 width

35 with common widths like 8" means having to check and re-check fitment and this locks you into certain tire widths because of coilover clearance. 8" +35 I use 215 width

40 is stock offset. Fine if you're doing the OEM alloys 15x6 and 205/55-15, but when you're looking for wheels in the aftermarket and you see trendy honda offsets with wider wheels, you need to know that they just won't look right(tucked in way to much) and they usually won't clear coilovers, and even if they do, they still would look whack!
