225-45 is ok I would go with 215-45 perect fit for a 7in wide wheel. or you can get some better fitting wheels, just kidding

Well, you have a dillema. I -had- 17x7 +40's on my s13, and 205/40's cleared everything fine. I threw some 225/45's on the back, and they fit fine as well. However, they wont clear coilovers in the front. That is on an s13, but Im guessing that tire size will rub on your s14 also.

Honestly, your going to have to get in there and measure. See if you can take an extra 5 or 10mm of tire in between the spring. If you can fit 5, go with a 215/45. If you can fit 10, go with the 225/45.

your best bet would be 215/45

also fyi the tires will do a little, but youll also need suspension to cure the 4x4 look

springs wont save the s-chassis cars. you my friend have atleast a 3" wheel gap at the minimum. go measure it... imagine a 1" drop what is that gonna do? lol. 215/45 will work. but id recommend changing wheels. to something lower offset more towards +0.

if you're on a budget then hankook z212, falken rt615 (as nismofly would probably recommend), or kumho mx. good tires don't come any cheaper than that...
