221 pickup owners?

Hi, we have a 1960 Datsun PLG-221 pickup with the "E" style 1200cc engine that my cousin (2nd owner) has had since 1978. We are searching for other 221 pickup owners who may be able to share with us, there is not a lot out there on the internet it seems as apparently only around 45 of these models were sold in the U.S. The truck has been sitting more than 30 years but we were interested in restoring it someday (still have original engine). We will post pics soon but are reaching out in case there are others out there who own or know about these trucks.

Tough to find parts for the early trucks. I'd estimate there are maybe 10 in running condition in the US. What part of the country are you in?

I also have a PLG-221. Title says 1959, fender tag says 1960. My dad bought it in 1964. Needs total restoration. only a small amount of mostly surface rust. Have original engine also. I would like to sell if any one is interested.

Hello Fellow rare truck dude!
I just picked up what is titled as a 62 223, as far as I have seen they were 60 and 61 only but perhaps this didn't sell until 62?
I am also looking for various parts, Mine is a runner, could be daily driver but has L16 with a 5speed that spits oil like a madman.
Working on the budget refresh which still means a ton o cash or ton o time making what I need.

Have you found rear shocks that fit?
