So I just bought my 2003 m45. I plan to purchase rims this spring. i do not want to install a suspension. I just want it to be stock with big rims. What are the biggest, widest rims I can fit without affecting turning or rubbing?

20 x 8.5?22 x 9.5?

do they make 22 x 8.5?

any offset recommendations?? 35mm?

20x8.5 u can probably go as much as 20 offset, 35 offset is fine as well, thats what i picked

9.5 width u definitely wants to stay with 35 offset

22's are too big for the car.

Roll your fenders and you can fit 20x9 +22 and 20x10 +22.

Setting my personal feelings aside--you *can* fit 2's on the M. There are several of them running around the south with 22's on them. I am not sure what offset/tire would be needed, but they are out there.

Point on the personal feelings. I think that 22" would be too over-powering for the car ... even 20" is borderline (in my opinion). I find the balanced look of the OEM 18" to be just right ...

Right on!!! I think that the 18s are perfect though they would make the car look better with 10 in wide rear tires. I wish that was factory finished.

thanks guys good stuff. I will prob go with the HR3 rim in a 20x8.5. HOw bout suspension. Did you put a drop with twenties anyone? I would rather not go mess with the suspension....

So that said ..maybe a 20 x 8.5 with a size 35 tire? what do yo guys think that will look like without messin with suspension?

I just sold my maxima that had everything done to it and wanted to go with the classy , big rimed look...

I recommend you stagger those wheels (note my sig with my tire/rim/offset). The A$$ on this car is monster and needs to be complimented with a larger width of rim and tire.

Suspension??? Almost nothing out there. There may be two member with Eibachs including myself and a couple of other with Teins. The teins look near stock to me based on the pics I've seen, but that's my opinion, so please no one flame me out.
