Can someone who knows about wheels help, i ahve sen about 03-04 M45's with 22 inch wheels i was wondering what size do they have??

Most of the 22's for sale are 22x9??

If i was looking for 22's to fit what would i be looking for 22x8, 8.5???

I think the 20's look small and there is a big gap unless you lower the car and i think the 22's look tight

a pic of someone's car who might know the answer

Stock offset on the 18"x7.5" OEM rim is 35mm. If you go with an 8" rim, i would also stick with 35mm offset; with 8.5", then 31 to 35mm ought to work out well. Check with the experts at http://www.tirerack.com - they have tried fitments and know their stuff!

To be honest, I also kinda agree that the 22" wheels really do not do the car justice - it takes away from the unique look of the car. But, to each their own, so you can do what you want, of course!

Some things to be concerned about. In larger tire sizes, the available tires are expensive. And, they may not have the correct load index for the weight of the car. You should make sure to get at least a 94 (preferably higher) load index tire. And, keep it at 36psi or higher pressures (monitor it often!).

Check out http://www.tirerack.com for available tire options before you spring for the wheels!

I personally think it looks amazing.

Although I have no clue about the sizing, dont ask tirerack. They know a ton of information about stock sizes and moderate upgrades, but they have no clue when it comes to extreme upgrades such as 22's. For instance, they told me a 215/45 was too wide on my 240sx, when people consistantly run 255's without a problem.

Id try contacting the owners of the cars you have seen. Other than that, you might want to try WCCBaller or some local rim shops that know alot about extreme plus sizing. Anythings possible these days, people are throwing 28's on cars. I just think the NICO community is a little too reserved when it comes to the DUB culture.

Aiight, i got some info for you.. Ugly rims, but sick sizes none-the-less.

Hes running 245/30/22's, so I would imagine theyre 22x9's. (That would be the ideal width for that tire)

Try contacing him, heres the link...http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2435358

You can either go with a 235/30/22 or 245/30/22. It really depends on the roads you travel on. I don't think it takes away from the ride, however you will feel every crack or dent in the road.

I from detroit so ofcourse I think the car looks tight with the 22's but they can't handle the michigan roads. The only car that can honestly get away with 22's are the 300C and the magnumsbcause they have the room for more rubber.

If I wasn't such a Q45 fanatic, I would certainly get me a M45.
