i have 265 35 R22 on my 06 pathfinder. Tire stores tell me that is the biggest size i can put on my car without rubbing. i was wondering if anyone has a bigger size tire than mine on their car or if someone can help me. I want a little bigger tire because it looks small in the wheel well. thanks

Yeah I'd be a little bothered by them . . I'd almost certainly destroy them the next time I go off the pavement.

i think you can go as big as 265 40 22, but go on http://www.1010tires.com and look for tire size cal put in your orginal size and then the new size and keep in mind its has to be within 3%, check tirerack.com, cardomain.com and see what other sizes guys r using, however keep in mind the offset of the rim too if you go with a lil more positive offset then u might be able to fit a bigger tire

Why on Earth would anyone put 22's on a Pathfinder, or any other SUV for that matter?

It's going to be difficult avoiding the differences -- we drive SUVs, and there are two routes to go. Look at the other vehicles on here, apart from the trucks. Everyone is on the same page. With ours, you can go up or you can go down (hehe. . make all the jokes you want).

Personally, I think a 25 inch lift is the only route to head for

it all depends on the point of view, dont hate cause 22" rims are worth more than your car. I could just as easily hate but im trying not to!
