Those cars were done for TAS so of course they are a little more over the top than what each and every GTR owner would get. That being said, the GTR is a huge car and while 22" wheels may not be the purist choice, I'm am quite sure there will be a large market for them here in the US (as there are a lot of M6's with 22" wheels now). The OEM rear tire on this car is the same size as a BMW 7series!

That just looks like a waste.... I would say it would def hurt the performance of the car....

The white one in the 4th pic from the bottom looks the best to my eyes. I really like the looks of the R35, although I didn't at first. I definately has grown on me over the last few months from the Proto stage to the production model.

Slightly larger wheels with a little bit of a tire stretch would help in handeling for strengthening the side walls and greating a little more stability. To big, though, and you lose more sidewall.

You gents seem to be missing the fact that these wheels are going to give the GTR one more thing it doesn't need. More excess weight. While the look decent, they will add lots of rotational mass, making any gain in tire sidewall stiffness null at best.
