Will these fit?Are they too tall? Will they rub?

Tanabe NF0210 is in effect.

The local NTB says they wont, but they also say 215/45/17 is too large also...

205 45 17 is within 99% of the stock wheels and tires rolling diameter. I have that tire size on my car

we got 215/40/17 and they barely rub at full steer left or right ,but never really steer that far unless in a tight spot

I have that exact set-up no problems at all. NTB is just full of false-alities, I went to Discount tire Co

And my 205/50-17 are 1 inch larger in diameter with no rubbing.

The 215's should only rub slightly (as referenced above by someone else who has them) and several people here and gone have gotten that size and been very happy with the appearance and how they sit in the wheel well.

I will say that I think that the 205's come just to the edge of the body paneling and give a very flush look so the 215's will stick out slightly.

Having said that, get whatever you think will suit your tastes better.I recommend Discount tire as well and the replacement certificates (especially with low profile tires).Good Luck!

u should be fine with that setup. im running mine with a 225/45/17 setup and its fine. a friend of mine runs a wheel/tire shop and we checked and measured before we did it and it rubs a tad at full steer but not much. thats also with the Tanabe springs all around.
