SWEET. Now I can say I used to have a supercar.Dittoz7 wrote:Learned'd repost
Also I don't see Land Rovers as supercars...
Meh, not impressed.infinitgkid wrote:I wish I owned all those cars. I don't even care if my parents got them for me either.
I could imagine how awesome it would be to roll through campus in one of those cars.

my cayman s was paid for when i was 18OriginalWheelman wrote:I knew a 21 year old kid who went to college and worked 2 jobs to pay for an S10 pick up and 2 years later a Camaro. Both brand new, and he made every payment on both by working his a** off. That is much more impressive to me.
Who cares? Why worry and even write about it?Loki wrote:Those are still Daddy's cars in my eyes. That is where the money came from. The kid is nothing special, just very lucky to have been born to that guy.
That's less impressive to me. That's quite a bit of money he wasted and could have invested. Mr. Rich kid likely has enough money to waste on cars and invest. His portfolio is probably as big as my phone number, area code included.OriginalWheelman wrote:I knew a 21 year old kid who went to college and worked 2 jobs to pay for an S10 pick up and 2 years later a Camaro. Did you buy it before or after you were 18? My parents would never let me have a Cayman S before 18, even if I had the money. That said, I bought my R1 when I was 19, which is way more dangerous, but I was an adult, nothing they could say.Watermelonwarrior wrote: my cayman s was paid for when i was 18
Are you kidding? If I had that kind of money college is EXACTLY what I'd do. No need to work to get by means you can put all your effort into school and still enjoy life on the side.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/stud ... -supercars
With that kind of money why even go to college?

Well I was 18 when I bought it. I had a 300zx then 350z then 2 M3s and now the cayman s. So its not like I went straight there. Kinda built up to it.Looneybomber wrote:Did you buy it before or after you were 18? My parents would never let me have a Cayman S before 18, even if I had the money. No thanks. I'd be too busy traveling with the world with those cars and driving on Spa, Imola, Monza, etc.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Are you kidding? I completely agree, there are a couple classes I could have done WAY better in if i didn't have to work. Also, I'm the only one out of my group of friends that has to work to pay for my school and my cars while all my friends have their parents pay for it all...MinisterofDOOM wrote:

That is definitely "just you". You could sell a Lambo, buy a Z and a house.Noxy wrote:
Honestly, a super car in itself is overkill. I would take a newer Z over a Lamborghini any day, but that's just me.

True. I think that's been everyone's argument since elementary school.flohtingPoint wrote:

Same here, but also including the swedish bikini team.flohtingPoint wrote:

They can definitely come along. Hell, two of them can ride in my McLaren F1.Bubba1 wrote:Same here, but also including the swedish bikini team.flohtingPoint wrote:
